Stone Sculpture Client: Tuneside Ltd                        Currently work in progress, this project involves the construction of a stone sculpture designed by artist Susanna Heron for the Cathedral Garden. A circular stone platform echoes the dimensions of the Sanctuary in the Cathedral and contains a simple design in smooth black granite and hammered white granite. The appearance of the flat surface is evocative of a pool of water with a sense of varying depths which, when wet, becomes highly reflective to mirror images of the Cathedral, the sky and the trees.
